Ice on Wethersfield Cove is something Jack wanted to shoot for several years. So he convinced a friend to drop him off in the right-hand traveling lane of I-91, and he slid down the precipitous embankment with his camera and tripod. The light was perfect, just as late day gloom seeped into the frame, and Jack shot variations of the ink-blot shaped patterns formed by the rising and receding tidal action 50 miles north of the mouth of the Connecticut River. |
