At least that’s Jack’s fantasy as he shoots this picture with a long lens from across the street. Those of us who love to invent fantasies may imagine lost loves, lost jobs, found wealth, or impending fame. Because there’s always a real person present in a portrait, no matter how poorly we understand them, our curiosity is aroused. |
